Working Hero

The Map symbolises the process of change and its challenges. It can be applied to any kind of process from relationships and personal goals to business and community change. Run the mouse over each stage below for more details about each phase of the challenge.

The ten stages of the Hero’s Map of Achievement break down into four or five Key Learning Points. Workshop participants view film clips for each Key Learning Point then take part in Active Change Training (ACT) which helps them apply the learning to their particular objectives and context.

The comfort zone. The world we know. Nothing is happening. Something happens to kick start the adventure. We picture new possibilities and dream dreams. We say, ‘I can’t do that. I won’t do that.’ Someone gives us new wisdom and equipment for the journey. Commitment. The step of courage, faith and confidence. New challenges, new enemies and new friends We confront the real risks. The cost of change is loss, uncertainty and inner darkness. The long and winding road. We learn perseverance, hard work and reality. Victory! But why am I still discontent? What next? Sharing the prize with others. Becoming an Working Hero.
